We are currently looking for a dynamic graduates, with teacher training aspirations, to join our team of Cover Supervisors at The Basildon Academies. 

Salary Range: Band 4 FTE £28,919 - £32,110. Actual starting salary £24,803 with performance-based yearly increments available.

Working weeks: 39 weeks (Term Time) and Parent/Open evening as required.

Working Hours: 37 hours per week (08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs and 08:00 – 15:30 Fri).

We have a commitment to ensuring the right candidates are supported and funded into a teacher training programme should positions become available in September 2024. We have an exceptional record in ensuring our trainee teachers find a teaching post with us on completion of their training.

We are looking for colleagues who share the drive and passion necessary to ensure every student achieves their potential.

The successful candidate will cover lessons in their subject specialism for absent colleagues, ensuring student progress, and will need to demonstrate the same level of professionalism and dedication as teaching staff in order to succeed in this role.

• Be educated to degree level (Specialisms of Maths, English, Science and Humanities desirable but all subjects will be considered)
